Why must I apply to attend?

Because there is such high demand, and we limit the number of participant leaders to ensure optimal engagement, we simply cannot accept every applicant for each retreat. But! We will notify you within five working days if you have been accepted for the retreat you apply for. And if not, we will work with you to put you on a waiting list or reserve a space for you for our next retreat.

What is included in the price?

Your investment in you provides for an array of experience and luxury. Each Kella Retreat attendee receives:

Four night’s accommodation in our selected 5-star hotel
A gift package filled with beautiful products from female owned businesses

You will need to arrange for your own flight and transfer to our destination retreat hotel.

Will I be sharing a room?

No. Rooms are single occupancy unless you want to bring your bestie

May I attend for only part of the time?

No. Unless an unfortunate emergency arises, in order to get the most out of the experience, you’re expected to arrive the day the retreat begins and stay until our final celebration.  This provides for the best relationship building and personal development opportunities.

May I attend virtually?

Unfortunately, No.  All of our activities and development workshops are designed to be experienced in-person. This is essential to the transformative learning and relationship building programme we are committed to.

Question 8

What is a typical day like?

You will be provided with an agenda before you arrive via email (and soon on our Kella app), which will give you each day’s detailed timeline. In general, each day includes:

Mornings with a spirit-awakening yoga session
Informal breakfast time
Professional development workshop
Restful and productive free time
Networking and topic driven lunch
Curated experiential activities like yachting, hiking and much more
More essential free time
We’ll conclude each day with a relationship-building dinner

Woven into all of this, we will ensure important time for reflection and sharing. Community-building is a foundational principle of Kella.

What’s the attire?

Dress to impress. No, just kidding. At Kella, we want you to revel in you.  Please wear what you are comfortable and feel great in.  That said, there’s hiking, yoga, boating and swimming and a likely a dinner you may want to bring a special outfit for, so bear that in mind.

Will I be refunded if I need to cancel?

Full payment is required twelve weeks before the retreat begins.  For any cancelations, we must be notified eight weeks before departure or full payment will be held. Deposits are non-refundable.

From a professional development sense, our Gina London led workshops will definitely improve your leadership communications confidence and each of you will create or refine your core story as well as share and expand your leadership strategies and delivery. Among other takeaways you can expect to: identify and strengthen your leadership values and abilities, re-connect with your positivity power and refresh your resolve and resilience.
